Please note, this Great Pyrenees passed away from natural causes at an old age and was donated to us by their family. The Great Pyrenees otherwise known as the Pyrenean Mountain Dog is a historical Guardian dog that was used by shepherds throughout the Pyrenean Region in France for centuries to protect their flocks from predators such as bears and wolves. They are still guardians to this day in the U.S. and throughout the world they are still protecting their fellow furry friends. This lovely pup was no different!
