This slow Magic wand has been crafted with a three pronged hand carved black walnut wood shaft, a black walnut stained porcupine femur handle, and a hand carved slow magic bind rune. The black walnut shaft has been sanded smooth with a fine grit, finished with a mixture of refined beeswax and mineral oil, and polished by hand. The black walnut stain was created on our studio using foraged black walnuts. The wand measures 11” long.

Slow Magic is a form of chaos magic which asks us to focus on the divine moments in our everyday lives. The porcupine being the perfect embodiment of slow magic in nature, thriving despite apparent disadvantages such as their limited sight and hearing and slow movement. They can live and flourish in a variety of climates and protect themselves with their unique anatomy!
